u  Axlebox is also called an axle box. The housing attaching the end of the axle to the railway bogie contained a set of long cylindrical roller bearing allowing the axle to rotate. Axle box functioned as the suspensions absorb shocks system between the axle bearings and the bogie frame. Together working with the axle box springs to permit up-and-down movement, and sliders to prevent lateral movement.
