    The Swing Arm System is usually consisting of a casting steel or iron swing arm, a swing arm bushing and in some cases it also contains the lower axle-box cover or a vertical stop.
    The Swing Arm System possesses several functions including the support of the axle box and axle, connection of the bogie and axle box, and the system also transfers brake and traction force in the longitudinal direction from the axle to the bogie.
    The system's vertical, longitudinal, and lateral stiffness can be adjusted according to design requirements and operating conditions to prevent derailment and ensure stable operation during high speed
